About
- Great White Buffalo hail from the West, and no they're not cowboys but they're pretty wild. The rockers call L.A. home and have been rounding up a solid following in the City of Angels for the past year. Since releasing their debut LP All At Once last June, they've played everywhere from the Viper Room, and House of Blues, to the Roxy.
Lead vocalist Graham Bockmiller’s deep gritty vocals paired with the bands classic-meets-contemporary rock sound, draws comparisons to The National. Their anthemic songs cover themes of rocky relationships on tracks like "LA" and "Jaybells," and the tireless pursuit of one's dreams, on the driving, "Too Young" and doleful "Veins." The band also consists of Guitarist Stephen Johnson, bassist Colin Regan and drummer Rich Carillo. Johnson's hypnotic guitar strains stand out on a number of tracks including "Pieces," "Waiting To Spill" and the cool "Stallionettes."
With their electric sound it's no wonder they've been creating a buzz. Great White Buffalo may be relatively new to the scene, but they are ready to lead the pack.
